Canadian Cowboy Confederacy

Canadian Cowboy Confederacy is gearing up to further the spirit of cowboy action shooters in Canada. Our new slogan is 'Aimin' to have fun....' We are targeting like-minded shooters that are smitten by the fantasy and true grit of the "old west". Building on our early success with our new brand "Canadian Cowboy Confederacy", we are launching a grassroots campaign to build awareness of the fastest growing shooting sport in North America. Our profiles share our experiences with the magic allure of the entertaining family sport.

Many of us have already joined SASS (Single Action Shooting Society with headquarters in New Mexico. Our CCC SASS-affiliated clubs take advantage of being part of something global. We are given the opportunity to travel and  share the evolution of a superbly run society with some 80,000 members. CCC will allow us to streamline our Canadian clubs and shooters. his

This is truly a sport for everyone with Grandpa and Grandma shooting in the Senior (60+), Elder Statesman or Grand Dame (70+) categories. Mom and Dad have a plethora of categories from Traditional (fixed sights) to Modern (adjustable pistol sights). Black Powder, Duelist (pistols shot one handed) or Gunfighter (one pistol in each hand). The kids will either be Juniors or Buckaroos.

The "old west" has grown from American and Canadian history through Hollywood films into a world-wide phenomenon that captures the hearts and minds of many with the stories of heroes and villains, of hardship and endurance, standing courageously against all odds and saving the day. It's the cowboy way. To us it is the embodiment of the old west cowboy era, and the values we try to uphold today. Wrap all that in a shooting sport and you've got one helluva game.

So if you want to try something unique, put a new spin on an old lifestyle and share great times with new friends, then come out and join an ever-growing group of people. 'Aimin' to have fun.' Canadian Cowboy Confederacy is headin up.
