Stoney Creek and the Wentworth Shootist Society Cowboys
Would like to introduce you to the Canadian Cowboy Confederacy

What is SASS?

The "Single Action Shooting Society" is an international organization created to preserve and promote the fast growing sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. It was created over 20 years ago and boasts 70,000 member. Cowboy Action Shooting is a multifaceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in taming the old west!
Single action revolvers, lever action rifles, side-by-side double barreled pump or lever action shotguns. Contestants shoot in several one-to-four gun stages in which they engage reactive steel and cardboard silhouette targets.
Scoring is based on accuracy and speed. Each participant is required to adopt a character or profession of the late 19th century or a Hollywood western star complete with an appropriate costume.

What is the CCC?

The "Canadian Cowboy Confederacy" was started by a large group of single-minded Canadian SASS members who wished to promote the old west style of Cowboy Action Shooting on Canadian soil. The CCC's motto "Aimin' to have fun". This does not take away from the safety aspects of this discipline. Every participant is expected to be a safety officer. Each shooter's first responsibility is for his or her own safe conduct. ALL shooters are expected to remain alert to the actions of others that are unsafe.

"Muzzle direction, Muzzle direction, Muzzle direction"
